1. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing or using Ask Orkie (the "Service"), operated by OORCAS LLC / Aleda Digital ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. What Ask Orkie Is — and Is Not

Ask Orkie is not a medical provider and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The Service produces an informational report that compares the medical records you provide against published clinical guidelines. It is intended to help you prepare for a conversation with a qualified healthcare professional. Always consult a licensed clinician before making any healthcare decision. Never disregard or delay professional medical advice because of something in an Ask Orkie report. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

The Service is powered by OORCAS, a symbolic reasoning clinical rules engine. It evaluates your records against a library of peer-reviewed clinical rules. It does not practice medicine and is not a substitute for professional clinical judgment.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into these Terms. You may only submit medical records that are your own, or that you are legally authorized to submit on behalf of another person.

4. Purchases, Codes, and Pricing

Reports are sold on a one-time basis, and a subscription plan may be offered. Current pricing is shown at checkout.
Payment is processed securely by PayPal. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
After payment you receive a one-time redemption code. Codes are valid for 90 days from purchase.

5. Your Records and Data

Medical records you upload are processed to generate your report and are then deleted.
Your report is available for download for 7 days after it is generated, after which it is deleted from our servers.
The Service is designed to operate without an account; we do not require your name or email to generate a report.
You are responsible for downloading and safeguarding your report within the availability window.

6. Refunds

If a report cannot be generated due to a technical failure on our side, you are entitled to a full refund of that report's purchase price. Refund requests are handled through the "Refund Failed Upload" process and are processed via PayPal, typically within 3–5 business days. Because reports are delivered digitally and immediately, we do not otherwise offer refunds once a report has been successfully generated, except where required by law.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by submitting records you are not authorized to submit, attempting to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including the OORCAS engine, its clinical rule library, and all associated content, is owned by OORCAS LLC and protected by intellectual property laws, including issued U.S. patents. Your report is provided for your personal use.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the report is complete or free of error, or that it will identify every relevant clinical finding.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OORCAS LLC / Aleda Digital and its officers, employees, and advisors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any healthcare decision made in reliance on a report. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the report at issue.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
